Terms and conditions

1. Who we are
Bazora (bazora.site) is a marketplace operated by Hugo da Costa Nunes do Amaral, Sole trader, tax number (NIF) 216869218, at Rua Prof. Bento de Jesus Caraça, 50, R/C Dto., 1600-605 Lisboa, Portugal. Contact: hugocnamaral@gmail.com.
Bazora is an intermediary: it connects buyers with sellers, who may be brands (professional traders) or private individuals. The sales contract is concluded between the buyer and the seller of each product.
2. Accounts
You need an account with a valid email to buy or sell. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the activity on your account.
Sellers can only publish after being approved by Bazora, which may suspend accounts that breach these terms or the law.
3. Professional and private sellers
Each product shows whether the seller is a brand (professional trader) or a private individual.
When you buy from a professional seller, EU consumer rights apply, including the 14-day right of withdrawal and the legal guarantee of conformity.
When you buy from a private individual, these consumer rights do not apply, because the seller is not acting in the course of a business. The general rules of sale and Bazora's returns policy apply.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros and include applicable taxes where due. Shipping costs, if any, are shown before payment.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Bazora never has access to your full card details. The amount is passed on to the seller, minus Bazora's commission.
Your order is confirmed once the payment is accepted; you will receive a confirmation email.
5. Delivery
Each seller ships their products to the address you provide, within the European Union. The delivery time is stated by the seller and, if not stated, does not exceed 30 days.
When the seller records the shipment, you receive the carrier and tracking number by email.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns are governed by the Returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Rules for sellers
Sellers guarantee that they have the right to sell their products, that descriptions and images are accurate, and that they comply with applicable law (including product safety and tax obligations).
Illegal, counterfeit or dangerous products, or products that infringe third-party rights, are prohibited. Bazora may remove listings and suspend sellers.
Professional sellers are responsible for the right of withdrawal and the guarantee towards their customers.
8. Liability
Bazora does its best to keep the service available and secure, but is not a party to contracts between buyers and sellers and is not liable for products sold by third parties, without prejudice to your statutory rights.
9. Complaints and disputes
You can contact us at hugocnamaral@gmail.com. You can also use the Portuguese electronic Complaints Book (Livro de Reclamações).
For consumer disputes you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body: Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (https://www.centroarbitragemlisboa.pt). More information at www.consumidor.gov.pt.
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to the mandatory rules of the consumer's country of residence.
